Honoring Roy Islas: A Legacy of Hope for Testicular Cancer Patients

In 2022, we lost a beloved friend, brother, father, husband, and advocate — Roy Islas. His life was cut short by complications from testicular cancer, a disease that affects approximately 1 in 250 men over the course of their lifetime. Despite the physical and emotional toll, Roy remained focused on a dream that would outlive him—helping others who faced similar challenges.

In his memory, we proudly launched the Roy Islas Memorial Fund, designed to assist cancer patients and survivors with critical financial resources. Roy believed that cancer care is not just about treatments but also about providing comprehensive support to individuals whose lives are turned upside down by a diagnosis.
